Denza D9’s first mass-produced car rolls off the line, runs 1,000km with full fuel and electricity

In May this year, BYD’s high-end brand Denza Motors released its first high-end MPV model, the Denza D9, offering 4 plug-in hybrid models (DM-i) and 2 pure electric models (EV). Zhao Changjiang, general manager of Denza’s sales division, announced today that the first mass-produced vehicle of Denza D9 has officially rolled off the production line.

Zhao Changjiang said that since its listing on August 23, the number of Denza D9 subscriptions has exceeded 30,000 units.

It is understood that Denza D9 is positioned as a medium and large luxury MPV, with a length, width and height of 5250/1960/1920mm and a wheelbase of 3110mm.

As one of the highlights of the car, Denza D9 is based on BYD’s new energy technology, including DM-i super hybrid and e-platform 3.0. The DM-i model is equipped with a 1.5T Xiaoyun-plug-in hybrid system, with a maximum battery life of 1040km. The CLTC has a cruising range of more than 600km.

In terms of appearance design, the front face of Denza D9 adopts an integrated middle grille, which is divided into armor type (DM) and straight waterfall type (EV) according to the different power versions.

Denza D9 central control interior layout continues the BYD family design, a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument panel and a 15.6-inch floating central control large screen are not absent.

The Denza D9 driver’s seat supports 12-way electric adjustment and supports functions such as ventilation, heating, and memory. The middle-row standard aviation seat supports 10-way electric adjustment. The seat armrest has an independent LCD screen, which can control the seat, Multimedia, third-row seat legroom is up to 980mm.

According to Denza’s plan, Denza will launch five series of various products in the future, covering MPV, SUV, sedan, urban sports car, etc.
