Dell’s flagship thin and light notebook, the XPS 13 Plus, has been reported by some users to have a loose screen issue. Dell has confirmed to The Verge that some OLED versions of the model have screen issues, and the company is contacting affected customers and appears to be recalling some products.

Users previously reported a loose screen on the XPS 13 Plus, and another video shows an XPS 13 Plus screen coming off in the Best Buy demo section. In addition, users have reported problems with dead phones, splash screens and touch failure.

Already, users are reporting that orders for the XPS 13 Plus they purchased are showing a recall.

In a statement to foreign media The Verge, Dell said.

"With product quality as our top priority, we found that some of the screens on the XPS 13 Plus OLED version may be coming loose due to an issue with the third-party adhesive used, which we quickly corrected during the production process. Dell is reaching out to potentially affected customers to replace their screens, preferably before they become loose."

Dell also said that the non-OLED screen XPS 13 Plus is not affected.

This product is also available in China with a 12th generation i7-1260P processor and 3.5K OLED screen, priced from 16,999 yuan, and it is unclear whether this affects the domestic version.
