According to OC3D, Corsair’s first PCIe 5.0 SSD, the MP700, will be launched soon.

From the teaser image, the MP700 features an active cooling design with a built-in large scale heatsink and small fan.

According to Corsair’s official news, the sequential read speed of MP700 PCIe 5.0 SSD has reached 10000MB/s, and the sequential write speed is 9500MB/s, which is improved compared to its flagship PCIe 4.0 SSD MP600 PRO XT.

The SSD uses 3D TLC NAND and will support NVMe 2.0 M.2, supporting AMD’s AM5 motherboards and Intel 600 and 700 series motherboards.

AMD originally said that PCIe 5.0 SSDs began to be launched in November last year, but so far no products have been launched in large quantities.
