The pirate ship’s Drop recently launched the CSTM80 “keyless” mechanical keyboard kit, The keyboard base (guts + bottom shell) is priced at $ 99 (currently about RMB 725), the top cover needs to pay extra, the axis support is hot-swappable, you need to extra Optional installation.

The main feature of this keyboard kit is the easily replaceable top cover, which is magnetically attached and officially available in a variety of colours:
- A polycarbonate cover for $25 (currently around RMB 183) in white, black, purple, orange, and green.
- Aluminium top cover for $59 (currently around RMB 432) in silver and black.

Drop has also teamed up with artists OSHETART and Chasing Artwork to launch two cases for $39 each, with plans to collaborate with more designers on more cases in the future.
In terms of basic design, the keyboard features LED lights on each keycap for a “light show” and an additional F13 button that allows users to customize the key’s function.
