Colorful uploaded the product page of the brand’s GeForce RTX 4070 Ti BattleAx Deluxe graphics card, confirming that the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti is indeed the previously canceled GeForce RTX 4080 12GB by Nvidia, but with a different name.

According to the spec sheet, the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti uses an AD104 (Ada Lovelace) GPU, the same chip at the heart of the GeForce RTX 4080 12GB. The chip measures 295 square millimeters and has as many as 7680 CUDA cores. Although Colorful did not confirm the number of CUDA cores, foreign media Tom’shardware believes that Nvidia will not cut the chip, which means that in addition to 7,680 CUDA cores, there will be 240 Tensor cores and 60 RT cores.

The base frequency of the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti is 2,310 MHz, but Colorful did not share the Boost frequency of the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti BattleAx Deluxe, so it is not known whether there will be an overclocking function. However, Nvidia’s benchmarks show that the GeForce RTX 4080 12GB is 30% slower than the GeForce RTX 4080 or GeForce RTX 4080 16GB (as they were originally named), so the outside world already has a good idea of the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti’s performance.

The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti retains the GeForce RTX 4080’s 12GB memory subsystem. In addition, the graphics card will feature 12GB of high-speed GDDR6X memory with a frequency of 21Gbps. With a generous 192bit memory interface, the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti will deliver up to 504GBps of memory bandwidth, about 30% lower than the regular GeForce RTX 4080.

Similar to the GeForce RTX 4080 12GB, the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti will stick with a 285W TDP. For the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti BattleAx Deluxe, Colorful has opted to use a 16-pin power connector.

Size-wise, the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti is likely to be as big as a GeForce RTX 4080 or GeForce RTX 4090. Colorful GeForce RTX 4070 Ti BattleAx Deluxe still uses a three-slot design, reaching a length of 326.5 mm and a weight of 1.52 kg.

Hardware leaker MEGAsizeGPU claims that Nvidia will launch the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti on January 5, and the graphics card’s pricing remains a mystery.
