(Phison), one of the world leaders in NAND flash controllers and storage solutions has just announced a new SSD platform based on the X1 host solution. It is designed to deliver industry-leading enterprise-class SSD solutions that meet the evolving needs of faster and smarter global data center infrastructures and has entered into a design partnership with Seagate, one of the world leaders in mass data storage infrastructure solutions.

According to Phison, the X1 SSD customizable platform can deliver higher computing power with less power consumption.
"With a cost-effective solution that eliminates bottlenecks and improves quality of service, X1 can increase data reads by more than 30% over the competition with the same power consumption."
Sai Varanasi, senior vice president of product and business marketing at Seagate, adds.
