Recently, China Telecom released the pre-selection announcement for the centralized procurement project (2022) of Skywing Gateway 4.0 (no frequency, no voice and no frequency type), which plans to purchase a total of 20 million units of Skywing Gateway 4.0.
The procurement is divided into two packages: Skywing Gateway 4.0 (1G-PON) – no WiFi and Skywing Gateway 4.0 (10G-PON) – no WiFi. Among them, 13.1 million units of Skywing Gateway 4.0 (1G-PON) – No WiFi with voice and Skywing Gateway 4.0 (1G-PON) – No WiFi without voice were purchased; 6.9 million units of Skywing Gateway 4.0 (10G-PON) – No WiFi with voice and Skywing Gateway 4.0 (10G-PON) – No WiFi without voice were purchased. It is reported that the procurement quantity is the estimated total quantity in the recent year, and the specific procurement quantity in the current period will be determined by the selection within the pre-selection.
The announcement also requires the applicant to be the successful bidder of China Telecom’s 2021 Skywing Gateway 4.0 centralized procurement project and in normal supply, and the cumulative performance of EPON or GPON class home gateway and broadband convergence terminal sold to end users in the market within the People’s Republic of China from January 1, 2020 to June 30, 2022 is not less than RMB 50 million (inclusive), two points are met One of them is sufficient.
