Chery Group sold 143,000 vehicles in February, a year-on-year increase of 37.8%

Chery Holding Group announced today that it sold 143,155 cars in February, a year-on-year increase of 37.8%; from January to February, it sold a total of 348,019 cars, a year-on-year increase of 69.5%.

Performance of each brand:

The Chery brand sold 97,562 vehicles in February, a year-on-year increase of 41%; from January to February, it sold 232,692 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 67.1%.

The Xingtu brand sold 7,910 vehicles in February, a year-on-year increase of 56.4%; from January to February, it sold 16,840 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 71.7%.

The Jietu brand sold 29,017 vehicles in February, a year-on-year increase of 76.6%; from January to February, it sold 71,973 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 121.9%.

The first product of the iCAR brand, iCAR 03, received 16,728 orders during the pre-sale period and will be launched globally on February 28.

The iCAR 03, the first model of Chery’s iCAR brand, has been officially launched recently, with an official guide price of 109,800-169,800 yuan. The new car is positioned as a compact pure electric SUV. It adopts a hard-core square box shape, hidden door handles and five-spoke wheels. It can also be equipped with 18-inch AT all-terrain tires; the size is 4406/1910/1715mm. The wheelbase is 2715mm.

In terms of power, Chery iCAR 03 has a standard cruising range of 401km and a maximum cruising range of up to 501km. It is available in single motor and dual motor four-wheel drive versions. The rear-wheel drive version has a maximum motor power of 135kW and a maximum torque of 184N·m. The four-wheel drive version has a total motor power of 205kW. , the maximum torque is 279N·m, and the acceleration from zero to zero is 6.5 seconds.
