Cheapest version of Mate 50 family: Mate 50E certified with Snapdragon 778G

Today’s news, Huawei Mate 50E (model number CET-AL60) received 3C certification, which is equipped with a charger model number HW-110600C01, the same as the Mate 50 Pro, both support 66W wired flash charging. However, the performance, screen and other parameters of the two are completely different. Specifically, compared to the curved bangs screen solution of the Mate 50 Pro, the Mate 50E has a dug-out straight screen and does not support 3D face recognition on the rear.

What’s more, the Huawei Mate 50E is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 4G processor and the Mate 50 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8-series 4G processor.

The Snapdragon 778G 4G cuts out the 5G baseband and uses the Qualcomm Kryo 670 CPU for a 40% performance boost, and its Adreno 642L GPU is equipped with a graphics rendering speed claimed to be 40% faster than its predecessor.

Another major concern is the price. The Mate 50E, as the only model in the Mate 50 series family equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon mid-range chip, will also be the cheapest in the Mate 50 series.

It is worth noting that this September 6 launch Huawei is sure to launch flagship versions of the Mate 50, Mate 50 Pro, and Mate 50 RS Porsche Design, and the Mate 50E is not yet sure if it will be unveiled at the same stage.
