Changan Automobile Sales vehicles exceeded 50,000 units, and Avita 11 delivered 3,083 units

Changan Automobile handed over its sales report card for September today. This time it announced the sales and delivery of new energy models of Changan Automobile’s own brands.

In terms of total sales, the total sales volume of Changan Automobile’s independent new energy brands reached 50,990 units in September, achieving a month-on-month growth of 27.09%.

Sales figures for each brand are as follows:

  • Changan Qiyuan: 10,032 units of the medium and large sedan A07 have been placed across the region.
  • Deep Blue Automobile: 17,370 vehicles were delivered in September. The S7 model has been delivered for more than 10,000 vehicles in two consecutive months since its launch. The brand’s cumulative sales in the past 14 months have exceeded 100,000 vehicles.
  • Avita Technology: 3,083 Avita 11 models were delivered in September, a month-on-month increase of more than 50%. Deliveries of the Avita 12 sedan will begin within the year.

Changan Qiyuan A07 was officially launched on September 26 and pre-orders opened across the country. It includes three extended-range models, namely 200 Air, 200 Pro, and 200 Max, and two pure electric models, namely 515 Air and 515 Pro. The price range is RMB 155,900-RMB 176,900.

Changan Qiyuan A07 measures 4905/1910/1480 mm in length, width and height respectively, and has a wheelbase of 2900 mm. It is positioned as a medium to large all-electric drive sedan. The electric version of the new car has a maximum power of 190 kilowatts, a peak torque of 320 Nm, and a pure electric cruising range of 515 kilometers. The range-extended version uses a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine as a range extender, with a maximum power of 70 kilowatts and an electric motor. The maximum power is 160 kW, the peak torque is 320 N·m, the vehicle’s pure electric cruising range is 200 kilometers (CLTC working condition, battery capacity 28.4 kWh), the official fuel consumption per 100 kilometers in the feed state is 4.5 liters, and the vehicle supports 3 kW external discharge function, the cruising range can reach 1,200 kilometers on a full charge and full fuel.

The September car sales of major car companies (as of press time):

  • Lantu Auto delivered 5,010 vehicles in September, a year-on-year increase of 99%; cumulative sales from January to September increased by 102% compared with the same period.
  • Wuling Bingo sold 24,650 vehicles in September, with cumulative sales of 126,174 vehicles.
  • GAC Aion delivered 51,596 new cars in September, a year-on-year increase of 72%; cumulative sales from January to September were 350,986 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 93%.
  • Li Auto delivered 36,060 vehicles in September, a year-on-year increase of 212.7%.
  • Gaohe HiPhi Y model delivered 1,556 units in September, a month-on-month increase of 52.4%.
  • SAIC Volkswagen’s ID. family received orders for more than 20,000 vehicles in September, of which the ID.3 model accounted for 15,000 vehicles. The ID. family has sold more than 160,000 vehicles as of the end of September.
  • Skyworth Automobile delivered a total of 3,635 units in September 2023 and exported 1,420 units overseas, a year-on-year increase of 142%.
  • The Hongqi brand sold 39,000 vehicles in September, a year-on-year increase of 18%.
  • Leapmotor delivered 15,800 units in September, with a total of 44,325 units delivered in the third quarter.
  • Changan Automobile: Sales of self-owned brand-new energy vehicles exceeded 50,000 units, and Avita 11 delivered 3,083 units
