According to reports, the Changan Qiyuan brand will launch 10 new digitally evolved new car products globally by 2025, and will achieve a sales target of more than 1.5 million vehicles in 2030. Among them, three new products equipped with the latest SDA central ring network architecture will be launched in 2024-2025.
When talking about the technical advantages and mass production implementation of the SDA architecture, Changan Automobile responded that the SDA architecture allows cars to be upgraded from mobile machines to smart car robots, allowing the concept of “software-defined cars” to be implemented. The first product of the E0 series, CD701, is expected to be officially mass-produced and launched next year.
It was previously reported that during the “Technology Ecological Conference” held by Changan Automobile early last month, the CD701, known as “the first mass-produced deformable car”, made its debut. The car has a pickup truck body posture and is equipped with a closed roof and a 5-seat layout inside the car.
The car is under the Changan Qiyuan brand and will be put into production and launched at the new plant in Yubei, Chongqing. When the car is in SUV form, the cockpit and trunk are independent spaces, and when the rear dome of the car slides open, it can transform into an electric pickup truck.
