The official Twitter account for Cyberpunk 2077 released a picture yesterday showing the “Steam Love Giving Award” trophy that CDPR recently won.

The award, from the 2022 Steam Annual Awards, was announced on January 4 and Cyberpunk 2077 won the “2022 Love Giving Award” with the official Steam comment: “This game has been out for a while. The game team has long since passed the stage where the fruits of their creativity cropped up. But they have been wonderful parents, continuing to nourish and support their ideas. Even after all these years, the game continues to roll out new content to this day.”

The award did cause some controversy after it was presented, as Cyberpunk 2077 has been fixing bugs since its release, and the first episode of DLC has still not been released.

CDPR officially announced on April 27 that Cyberpunk 2077 DLC “Shadows of the Past” will be released at Summer Game Fest in Los Angeles in June. CDPR said it will offer press and content creators a demo session at Summer Game Fest, and plans to offer players more opportunities to try out the game afterward.

According to CDPR, “Shadows of the Past” is a new spy thriller DLC for the game, set in a new area of the Night City. In addition to the familiar Keanu Reeves continuing to play Johnny Silverhand, actor Idris Elba will also join the material, playing the new United States of America secret agent Solomon Reid.
