CATL said today that the EVOGO battery swap service has recently been officially launched in Guiyang City, Guizhou Province. At present, 4 EVOGO quick change stations have been put into operation in Guiyang.
CATL announced its entry into the battery swap industry in January this year, released the battery swap service brand EVOGO and the combined battery swap overall solution and plans to start the first batch of battery swap services in 10 cities. CATL’s integrated power swap solution consists of three major products: “battery swap block, quick swap station, and App”.
According to CATL, each standard station needs three parking spaces, and it takes about 1 minute to replace a single power block, and 48 power swap blocks can be stored in the station. In addition, the quick-change station ensures that users always have fully charged battery blocks that can be replaced without long waits. At the same time, the quick change station can also provide versions adapted to the climate and environmental conditions in different regions.
Previously, the CATL EVOGO battery swap service was officially launched in Xiamen in April this year, which is also the first city where the service has landed. In June of this year, the CATL EVOGO battery exchange service was launched in Hefei, Anhui.
