Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is a handheld version of the battle royale game jointly developed by Activision (Activision)’s Shanghai, Beenox, Digital Legends and Solid State studio, the game was originally slated for release on iOS and Android this year, but has now been delayed until next spring.

It is noted that the Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile was officially announced in September last year, and began a small launch in the Australian region in November last year, before being released in other countries such as Chile, Norway and Sweden this year. According to Activision, 45 million players have pre-registered for the Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile.

Activision announced on Thursday that in addition to the game’s Verdansk map, Rebirth Island will make its debut on the Mobile platform when the game releases globally. In addition to the flagship 120-player Battle Royale mode, the Mobile version of Call of Duty: Warzone will also offer multiplayer modes such as Domination and Team Deathmatch, which are designed to give players more ways to upgrade their weapons.

Activision said, “From significantly improved picture quality, to reduced installation space, to refined customization options, and the integration of an authentic multiplayer experience that includes maps like Shipment and Shoot House to complement Battle Royale, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is an all-encompassing Call of Duty experience that promises to redefine Battle Royale.”
