This weekend marks the second weekend of the Call of Duty 19: Modern Warfare 2 BETA test, which is now available to PC, PS and Xbox players, which means cheating players have now joined the fray. In response, console players turned off the cross-platform play feature to avoid lining up with cheating players on PC.
This type of thing was also seen in last year’s Call of Duty 18: Vanguard and 2020’s Call of Duty 17: Black Ops Cold War.
The tweeter MW2 Beta Plug shared a clip showing cheating players using perspective to spot enemies as well as the auto-targeting feature. Similar clips are proliferating on TikTok and tempting other players to buy the plugin.
Call of Duty 19″ has not yet been officially released has appeared hangers, and Activision has repeatedly and vigorously promoted how effective their kernel-level anti-cheat technology is.
The current “Call of Duty 19” developer IW has responded in the official Twitter, saying that it will crack down on BETA open players.
