Through the high-performance infrared camera equipped in the vehicle, together with the industry’s unique infrared fill light, the imaging quality can be improved under various working conditions, including poor lighting at night and drivers wearing sunglasses, to more accurately determine whether the driver’s line of sight The driver’s eyes remain on the road ahead to ensure that he or she remains focused on driving.

When the driver is out of sight for too long, the system will provide the driver with three levels of warning, including steering wheel light alert, audible alert, and patented seat vibration. If the driver still does not respond, the system will use driver assistance technology to brake the vehicle in time, and OnStar emergency assistance will contact the driver if necessary to ensure the safety of the driver and the vehicle.

The Super Cruise system has achieved a cumulative safety record of 30 million kilometers in North America by March 2022, according to officials. Since its introduction to China in 2018, the Super Cruise system has undergone a series of localized validation, testing and evaluation work for the unique road conditions and typical driving habits of Chinese customers to ensure that the Super Cruise system can be used safely and effectively by domestic customers.

The new car will continue to be powered by the 2.0T longitudinal four-cylinder turbocharged engine with variable cylinder technology, which includes three modes: two-cylinder super economy, four-cylinder economy and four-cylinder sport. The engine has a maximum power of 237 hp and a maximum torque of 350 Nm. The transmission system is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.
