It is worth mentioning that BYD Japan held a new product launch conference in Tokyo last month and announced the launch of its second electric car in Japan – BYD Dolphin. The local price of this model starts at 3.63 million yen, with a power battery capacity of 44.9kWh and a WLTC cruising range of 400 kilometers. Prior to this, BYD ATTO 3 went on sale in Japan in January this year, priced at 4.4 million yen.

BYD opened its first store in Japan in Yokohama in February this year, and the company aims to open more than 100 showrooms across Japan by the end of 2025. With the debut of BYD Seal, Denza D9, and Yangwang U8 at the Tokyo Motor Show, the company is expected to launch more models in the Japanese market.
