BYD says super hybrid car orders are full, hybrid product power is little better than pure EV

On the 7th China Automotive Power Technology Conference, BYD FWD Engine R&D Director Zhang Nan said in response to a question about the future development of hybrid and pure electric market outlook, BYD is the state of pure electric and hybrid 1:1, and is the slightly more hybrid situation.

He said: “You can see that the hybrid growth rate is faster than the pure electric, and now many people take the hybrid car as a pure tram in the drive, we plug-in hybrid range to 100-200km range, can cover more than 90% of users, while cheaper than pure trams.”

Zhang Nan believes that the market for hybrid cars will be very good, the whole market, 20% is hybrid, 80% is pure electric. If BYD for example, at least the whole industry will develop to a 1:1 state. From the analysis of the model product power, the trend of hybrid is even a little better than pure electric.
