BYD today announced the official interior image of its new model Hiace 07EV, which has smart curves that “outline the beauty of the ocean” and a lightweight design that “highlights a new realm of individuality.” The new car will be officially launched during the Beijing Auto Show.
The interior of the new car follows the design of “marine aesthetics”, using a large number of curves to create a more agile atmosphere, and is covered with a large range of leather. It is equipped with a floating central control screen and LCD instruments embedded in the central control panel, creating a symmetrical effect on the entire central control panel.
In terms of configuration, it can currently be seen that the new car is equipped with a HUD head-up display, crystal gear lever, Dynaudio audio, integrated sports seats, etc. Officials have previously announced that the new car will be equipped with “God’s Eye” high-end smart driving, supporting high-speed navigation and many other smart driving functions.

The length, width and height of the car are 4,830×1,925×1,620mm respectively, and the wheelbase reaches 2,930mm. According to previous official introductions, the car will provide rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive power systems, equipped with iTAC technology, using front double-wishbone and rear five-link independent suspension, and equipped with Yunnan C intelligent damping body control system.
Information from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology shows that the new car will be equipped with three power forms. The two-wheel drive model will provide 230kW and 170kW motors respectively, and the four-wheel drive model will have a maximum power of 160kW and 230kW at the front and rear motors respectively.
It is equipped with an 80.640kWh or 71.808kWh battery and offers multiple cruising ranges of 550km or 610km.
The high-speed navigation that will be installed on the Hiace 07 EV has multiple driving functions such as lane keeping, lane guidance, lever lane changing, traffic sign recognition, intelligent speed limit, etc., and is claimed to be able to comprehensively learn the driving strategies of human drivers.
