BYD announced that it signed a cooperation agreement with global car rental company SIXT to provide new energy car rental services for the European market and jointly promote the transformation of the car rental market into electric.
Under the agreement, SIXT will purchase at least 100,000 new energy vehicles from BYD over the next six years. Several BYD new energy vehicles will serve SIXT customers, including the newly launched Yuan PLUS in Europe, which will be delivered in the fourth quarter of this year.
According to the information, SIXT is a car rental company, with branches in more than 100 countries around the world, with more than 2100 business outlets, mainly for business, corporate and private users to provide a series of high-end car rental services.
BYD said it will help SIXT achieve its green goal of reaching 70 to 90 percent of its electric fleet by 2030.
