Toyota bZ3 announced the price and open reservation, the car price of 16.98-19.98 million yuan. This is a BYD and Toyota cooperation to build a pure electric mid-size slider, is also Toyota’s first pure electric car, based on the e-TNGA architecture, equipped with a BYD blade battery and drive motor, CLTC comprehensive range of 517km and 616km respectively.
The bZ3’s exterior design is similar to that of the bZ4X, with a closed front design and running LED daytime running lights highlighting the new energy attributes. The front headlights are matrix-type full LED light sources with sharp shapes. The sidelines are smooth, with a suspended roof and hidden door handle for a sporty feel and a wind resistance coefficient of 0.218. The hidden door handles shrink inward to better solve the problem of icing in winter. The rear tail light cluster echoes the front, and the dotted light beads are highly recognizable, while the concave design of the license plate frame and small rear wing create a sense of hierarchy. The new car’s length, width and height are 472518351475mm, wheelbase is 2880mm.
Power, the bZ3 uses BYD FWD power to provide a lithium iron phosphate blade battery and rear single motor. The motor is available in 135kW and 180kW sizes, with a peak torque of 303N・m. The battery capacity is available in 49.92kWh and 65.28kWh, corresponding to a CLTC range of 517km and 616km respectively.
