British audio brand Bowers & & Wilkins has recently launched its new wireless headphones, the Px8. These over-ear wireless headphones are available in black and tan and feature 40mm dynamic full-range carbon cone drivers, which are officially claimed to reduce distortion and thus improve clarity.

“Combined with a fully optimized driver ‘motor system’ with improved magnets, voice coil and surround sound, the result is unparalleled accuracy and realism,” it says on the product page.

The headphones also feature aptX Adaptive wireless technology and high-resolution 24-bit digital signal processing. Four microphones power a proprietary noise cancellation system, and two additional microphones handle voice calls.

The rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides up to 30 hours of listening time on a single charge and up to 7 hours of listening time on a quick 15-minute charge. A full charge takes just two hours.

The weight of the headset is 320 grams. The kit includes a USB-C to 3.5mm audio jack cable, a USB-C to USB-C cable and a carrying case, the latter measuring 189mm (W) x 63mm (D) x 233mm (H). Cast aluminum arms and Nappa leather trim enhance the premium product experience.

The Px8 wireless headset has an official suggested retail price of $699 and comes with a 2-year warranty. The Crutchfield currently retails for $549, which is a significant saving for those considering over-ear headphones.
