Blizzard: Using Modifiers for Diablo 4 May Lead to Permanent Ban

0

Blizzard recently warned “Diablo 4” players, if they use any tools to modify the game, may face the risk of permanent blocking.

Blizzard specifically mentioned a tool called TurboHUD that enhances the game’s user interface with more customization options. However, the tool is not free, players need to pay a monthly fee of $12 (Currently around RMB 86) through the developer’s Discord server in order to use it, and there is now a risk of losing their game account.

Blizzard explained that since Diablo 4 is an online game, any tool that modifies the game may affect the gaming experience of other players.

Blizzard and Activision have extended the online requirement to a number of other games with single-player modes, such as Deus Ex 4: The Time Has Come and the last few Call of Duty series. Even if you buy these games on the Steam platform, you’ll need to maintain an internet connection to play them. Currently, offline play is only allowed for StarCraft 2 and some remakes of Blizzard’s classic games, such as StarCraft: Remastered, Warcraft 3: Recast and Diablo 2: Resurrection.
