According to SamMobile, after a long wait, Samsung has now pushed out the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 Beta for eligible Galaxy S22 series users, delayed by about two weeks compared to the previously reported time.
With the One UI 5.0 beta update, Samsung has brought many useful new features to the new version of the system, as well as cosmetic improvements and other changes.
The Samsung One UI 5.0 beta is currently only available for the Galaxy S22 series, and here’s what one German user saw when he received the push.
As previously reported, the Samsung One UI 5.0 Beta will be available in the third week of July. As usual, the Beta firmware will first be available in only a few countries/regions.
Google has previously released a developer preview of Android 13 that includes cosmetic improvements, a new media player and output selector, and an extension to the Google Material You color scheme.
One UI 5.0 will bring some cosmetic changes of its own. Since this is a major update, we can expect Samsung to introduce some new features, but we will have to wait until overseas users have installed it to learn the specifics, so stay tuned.
