In accordance with industry practice, BAIC ArcFox also announced its September delivery results.
Data show that ArcFox Motors delivered 2,016 new cars in September, and its entire product range achieved a year-on-year growth of 77%. Among them, the ArcFox Alpha S model has a year-on-year growth of 75%, and the “advanced version” model has a month-on-month growth of 30%.
Currently, ArcFox Motors has three models on sale: ArcFox Alpha S, ArcFox Alpha T, and ArcFox Koala. Two new cars, Alpha T5 and Alpha S5, have also been filed with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Among them, the Alpha S5 is a pure electric sedan and the Alpha T5 is a pure electric SUV.
In addition, ArcFox Koala, a new car focusing on the mother and baby market, was also officially launched on September 20, with a guide price range of RMB 131,800- RMB 169,800, and is positioned as a compact MPV.
The car is equipped with light and shadow-sensing side sliding doors. When holding a child, just step on the projection area and the door will automatically open, making it easier to get on the car. When the rear door is opened, the child seat will automatically rotate to meet the side of the door, making it easier to place the child, and will automatically reset after closing the door. In addition, the passenger seat of the new car can be folded forward 90° into a seat, allowing face-to-face interaction with family members in the back row. Equipped with a fully electronically controlled intelligent child safety seat with electronically controlled 4-way adjustment and intelligent induction ventilation functions. There is also a Rubik’s Cube coffee table table board, which can bear a load of 30KG, making it convenient for children to play and eat. The system also provides schedule reminders, including time reminders for pregnancy check-ups, prenatal check-ups, vaccinations, physical examinations, etc.
The September car sales of major car companies (as of press time):
- Voyha Auto delivered 5,010 vehicles in September, a year-on-year increase of 99%; cumulative sales from January to September increased by 102% compared with the same period.
- Wuling Bingo sold 24,650 vehicles in September, with cumulative sales of 126,174 vehicles.
- GAC Aion delivered 51,596 new cars in September, a year-on-year increase of 72%; cumulative sales from January to September were 350,986 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 93%.
- Li Auto delivered 36,060 vehicles in September, a year-on-year increase of 212.7%.
- Gaohe HiPhi Y model delivered 1,556 units in September, a month-on-month increase of 52.4%.
- SAIC Volkswagen’s ID. family received orders for more than 20,000 vehicles in September, of which the ID.3 model accounted for 15,000 vehicles. The ID. family has sold more than 160,000 vehicles as of the end of September.
- Skyworth Automobile delivered a total of 3,635 units in September 2023 and exported 1,420 units overseas, a year-on-year increase of 142%.
- The Hongqi brand sold 39,000 vehicles in September, a year-on-year increase of 18%.
- Leapmotor delivered 15,800 units in September, and a total of 44,325 units were delivered in the third quarter.
- Changan Automobile: Sales of its own brand new energy vehicles exceeded 50,000 units, and 3,083 Avita 11 units were delivered.
- ArcFox Motors delivered 2,016 vehicles in September, a year-on-year increase of 77% for all models.
