AYANEO originally announced the concept design of NEXT 2 handheld in June last year, which will have a Steam Deck-like appearance and be equipped with a unique display.
Now, AYANEO has announced the latest look and configuration options for the NEXT 2 handheld and announced that it will be available at the end of 2023.
In terms of appearance, the AYANEO NEXT 2 handheld is similar to the Steam Deck, with two touchpads.
In terms of configuration, AYANEO NEXT 2 will be equipped with “next generation 7000 Series CPU + new discrete graphics”, the exact model has not been announced. The screen size is 8 inches and the resolution is not announced.
The AYANEO NEXT 2 handheld was planned to be equipped with Intel’s DG2 discrete graphics or RX 6000 series mobile discrete graphics when it was first announced last year, both of which should be low-power entry models. AMD has just released a RX 6550S notebook graphics at CES, 1024 stream processors + 4GB memory, power consumption in the lower 50W, more suitable for use in this handheld.
