On the eve of the Munich Motor Show, Volkswagen Group held a Volkswagen Night launch event in Munich, where the interior design of the Audi Q6 e-tron series, a new all-electric mid-sized SUV based on the PPE platform, was formally unveiled.

The interior design of the Audi Q6 E-tron is very eye-catching, there are a total of three screens mounted on the dashboard, forming a three-screen integrated display system called “Digital Stage (Digital Stage)”. The system extends from the driver’s side to the passenger’s side, with each screen having a different size and function.

The driver has access to two screens, both of which are embedded in a separate center console that curves slightly at the sides. One is an 11.9-inch screen that displays the instrument cluster and other vehicle information and is located directly in front of the driver. The other is a 14.5-inch touchscreen for controlling the entertainment and navigation systems that extends to the right side of the steering wheel. Audi says special ambient lighting at night will make the system “look like it’s floating in the air.”

In addition to those two screens, the passenger side has a 10.9-inch screen that adjusts the audio and navigation systems and allows you to watch movies while driving. The passenger screen also offers a privacy mode that prevents the driver from seeing the screen’s contents and avoids distractions.

The Audi Q6 E-tron has a few other high-tech features, such as Bang & Olufsen-branded 22 speakers. There’s also an Augmented Reality Heads-Up Display (HUD) system that displays things like speed, traffic signs and navigation information on the windshield. The Audi Q6 E-tron also features a “self-learning” voice assistant that can be woken up by saying “Hey Audi”. Audi says that over time, the assistant learns the user’s behavior and can automatically make suggestions or adjust certain functions, such as seat temperature.

The Audi Q6 E-tron offers 526 liters of storage space in the trunk, and the rear seats can be folded down in a 40:20:40 ratio, expanding the storage space to 1,529 liters when folded down. In addition, the front compartment offers 64 liters of storage space for smaller suitcases.

In terms of power, the new car will be available in two models, the 55 e-tron and the SQ6 e-tron, with corresponding maximum power of 375 hp and 483 hp, and corresponding WLTP ranges of 600+km and 500+km. In terms of batteries, the new car will be equipped with a 100 kWh battery on an 800V platform, which allows a maximum charging speed of 270 kW. The battery takes about 30 minutes to fully charge from 10% to 80%.

Audi plans to launch the Q6 e-tron and the SQ6 e-tron in 2024. The SQ6 e-tron will be imported into the domestic market first, and then the Q6 e-tron will be launched domestically.
