Audi Group’s revenue in fiscal year 2023 reached 69.9 billion euros

The Audi Group disclosed on its official website that revenue in fiscal year 2023 increased by 13.1% year-on-year to 69.9 billion euros (Note: currently about 548.016 billion RMB); operating profit was 6.3 billion euros ( Currently approximately 49.392 billion RMB), operating profit margin is 9.0%; net cash flow is 4.7 billion euros, basically the same as the previous year.

Thanks to strong demand and an improving supply situation, the Audi brand delivered 1.895 million vehicles for the full year, a year-on-year increase of 17.4%.

In 2023, the Audi Group once again achieved strong growth in its deliveries of all-electric vehicles. The Audi brand delivered 178,000 all-electric models, a significant year-on-year increase of 51%.

Strong financial performance of the Bentley, Lamborghini and Ducati brands contributed to the Brand Group’s performance. Lamborghini delivered 10,112 (2022: 9,233) vehicles to customers in fiscal 2023, achieving strong growth of 9.5%. Revenues exceeded last year by 12.1%, rising to €2.663 billion (2022: €2.375 billion). Operating margin was 27.2%, with operating profit reaching €723 million.

Bentley delivered 13,560 (2022: 15,174) cars. Revenues were €2.938 billion (2022: €3.384 billion). Operating margin reached 20.1% and operating profit was €589 million.

Ducati delivered 58,224 motorcycles to customers last year, down slightly from a record 61,562 in 2022. The brand’s revenue of 1.065 billion euros was also slightly lower than last year (1.089 billion euros). Operating margin reached 10.5% and operating profit was €112 million.

The Audi Group’s net cash flow of 4.74 billion euros was in line with last year’s strong performance of 4.808 billion euros.

In the coming years, Audi will significantly strengthen and expand its product portfolio with the launch of numerous new models. The world premiere of the all-electric Audi Q6 e-tron marks the start of a series of new vehicles, with Audi planning to launch more than 20 new vehicles in 2024 and 2025 alone.

Audi Group expects revenue in the 2024 fiscal year to be between 63 billion and 68 billion euros, with an operating margin between 8% and 10%. In addition, Audi said that from the end of 2024, Audi FAW New Energy Vehicle Co., Ltd. will produce electric vehicles specifically designed for the Chinese market in Changchun.
