Tony from ASUS ROG took the lead in unboxing the ROG X670E Hero and X670E GENE motherboards, which are ATX and m ATX board models respectively. The series of motherboards will be available on September 27th with the ROG 7000 processor.
X670E Hero
The ROG CROSSHAIR X670E HERO motherboard has a nearly full-coverage thermal armor with Polymo dynamic lighting effects on the I/O armor, which can present two different patterns. WiFi 6E wireless and 2.5G wired NICs, and dual USB4 ports for high-speed data transfer. For audio, a high-quality ALC4082 audio chip and ESS ES9218PQ quad DAC decoder chip are used.
X670E GENE
The mATX board ROG Crosshair X670E GENE motherboard comes with a 16+2 phase power solution with PCIe Gen 5.0 and M.2 Gen 5 slots, USB4 support, and a USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C port with 60W charging support.
