ASUS recently listed the ROG Strix G18 gaming notebook at Best Buy for $2499.99 (currently about RMB 17,075). The gaming notebook is equipped with the most powerful mobile processor in the Intel Raptor Lake-HX series, the i9-13980HX, in addition to 16GB of DDR5-4800 memory and 1TB of PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD, 12GB of graphics memory Nvidia RTX 4080 mobile GPU.
The Gun G18’s competitors include the Alien M18 at $2,900, Acer’s Predator Helios 18 at $3,000, and the Razer Blade 18 at $3,800.
But the CPU performance of these three gaming notebooks is not as good as the Gun G18, and the latter is cheaper. The gaming notebook features an 18-inch 240Hz screen with a resolution of 2560*1600, an IPS panel, a peak brightness of 489 nits, a color gamut of 99% DCI-P3, and support for MUX switches.
