Asus today globally announced the new Zenbook 15 OLED laptop, using AMD’s old architecture R7 7735U processor, equipped with a 2.8K OLED screen.
According to reports, the laptop is 14.9 mm thick and weighs only 1.4 kg. The screen is a 15.6-inch 16:9 120 Hz 2.8K OLED screen, certified by VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500, and also certified by SGS and TÜV Rheinland for eye protection.
The R7 7735U processor can be seen as a renamed version of the R7 6800U, with 8 cores and 16 threads and a good Radeon 680M core. The R7 7735U is available with 32GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD, with USB4, USB-A, HDMI 2.1, and 67Wh of battery.
