According to the official news from Astell&Kern, Astell&Kern has officially released its first general-purpose portable Hi-Fi headphone amplifier with Class A (Class A) amplification circuitry: AK PA10.

It is a universal portable Hi-Fi amplifier with Astell&Kern’s signature polygonal stereo design and TERATON ALPHA technology. It can be used with most of the earbuds and headphones sold in the world and supports 3.5mm and 4.4mm input/output, which can explore the potential of headphones with cleaner and more powerful drivers and reproduce the nuances of high-resolution music.

In terms of design, the machine has a sloping recessed design on one side and a one-piece rubber pad fit design on the other side, with a fully mechanical button combination on the side, representing current control (high, medium, and low), gain adjustment (high gain / low gain), and cross-feed from top to bottom.

Performance-wise, officials say the AK PA10 integrates the best features of analog Class A amplifiers, not only reducing power consumption and increasing output but also eliminating noise and featuring 2 gain levels for clear sound. AK PA10 also offers a three-stage control for Class A AMP current, emphasizing the characteristics of Class A AMP relative to current values and producing a more intense and clearer sound.
