ASRock is planning to enter the gaming monitor market. The company has already registered 2 products under the “Phantom Gaming” brand name, both of which support AMD Freesync Premium technology. As Momomo_US found out, ASRock is trying to enter the gaming monitor space with two products under its Phantom Gaming product line. These include ASRock PG34WQ15R and PG27FF.

Both models are registered on Displayport.org, Consumer.Go.Kr and digital-cp licensing sites. Almost all motherboard suppliers are entering the gaming monitor space as all major brands have their own lineup of gaming-centric monitors.

According to the information, both monitors feature curved displays, ASRock PG34WQ15R features a 34″ VA panel with a maximum resolution of 3440×1440 and supports the latest HDMI and DisplayPort standards. ASRock PG27FF is a 27″ IPS monitor that supports an FHD resolution of 1920×1080.

Details do not include other data such as HDR support or refresh rate, but both models are expected to feature AMD’s Freesync Advanced Technology, which means they will run at least 120Hz refresh rate and will definitely support HDR.
