ASRock iBOX-N97 is a 135 mm x 110 mm x 44.5 mm (Note: 5.3-inch x 4.3-inch x 1.8-inch) PC with a fanless design that supports up to three monitors and two 2.5 GbE Ethernet connections.

ASRock iBOX-N97 is equipped with an Intel N97 chip, a 12W, 4-core, 4-thread chip built on Alder Lake-N architecture, which is expected to significantly improve CPU and graphics performance compared to the previous generation Jasper Lake chip.

ASRock iBOX-N97 is the latest addition to the fanless system series designed for the industrial market, supporting 24/7 operation under passive cooling.

Thanks to a single 260-pin SODIMM slot, ASRock iBOX-N97 supports up to 16GB DDR4-3200 memory, one M.2 2280 slot for PCIe Gen 3 storage and one 2.5-inch bay for SATA 3 hard drive or SSD and a set of ports including:

  • 2 HDMI 2.0b
  • 2 USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C (with DisplayPort 1.4a alternate mode)
  • 4 USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports
  • 2 x 2.5 GbE Ethernet ports (Realtek RTL8125BG)
  • 1 x 3.5 mm audio jack
  • 1 DC power input

The computer comes with a 65W power adapter and a VESA mounting kit for attaching the 700g device to the wall or back of a monitor.

ASRock iBOX-N97 pricing has not yet been announced and will likely be higher than most consumer-oriented mini PCs with similar specifications, as it is targeted at industrial and enterprise customers.
