Among them, after the runaway mode is turned on, it can maximize the vehicle’s dynamic performance, and with the ejection start, it can achieve 0-100km/h acceleration in 3.7 seconds; in track mode, users can customize vehicle parameters, including acceleration mode, torque distribution, energy Recovery, stability assistance and other functions.

This new car is positioned as a mid-to-large pure electric sedan. It is the brand’s second sedan product after the Alpha S and has a range of more than 500 kilometers.

In fact, Alpha S5 had already completed its application with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology as early as August last year. The overall shape of the new car follows the design concept of the Arcfox family. Previously, there were rumors on the Internet that the price is between 200,000 and 300,000 RMB(Note: Arcfox Alpha S is currently 189,800 to 329,800 RMB).

Information reported by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology shows that the new car’s body dimensions are 4820/1930/1480mm in length, width and height respectively, and the wheelbase is 2900mm. In terms of power, the new car will also be equipped with a single motor model with a peak power of 185kW, and will be equipped with a lithium iron phosphate battery as an entry-level option.

In addition, the Alpha S5 also adopts a full-range 800V high-voltage architecture and a silicon carbide electric drive system, an 8-layer flat coil motor design and a double-sided “fin” heat dissipation structure with a heat dissipation area of 760,000 square millimeters.

In terms of braking system, the new car adopts Germany’s Continental integrated one-box brake-by-wire system, which improves the braking response rate by integrating an intelligent electronic control unit.
