Apple’s obsolete products: Here’s the list

0

Earlier this year, Apple removed the iPod Touch series product page from its official website, and the once flourishing series finally went down the drain. In a memo sent to authorized service providers, Apple has added the fifth-generation iPod Touch, seventh-generation iPod nano, and iPod shuffle to its list of obsolete products, according to information revealed at MacRumors today.

This means that the hardware repair service for these three products will be completely ended worldwide.

Among the three products completely abandoned by Apple this time, except for the iPod Touch, which has been in the limelight due to the previous downgrading fiasco, the other two were once quite sought after.

Among them, the iPod shuffle sacrificed the display for an ultra-lightweight of 12.5g, so you could just put it there and enjoy music anytime and anywhere.

The seventh generation iPod nano, on the other hand, has a 2.5-inch display and comes with a simplified version of iOS, making it equally good as a multimedia device.
