Apple’s next-generation iPad Pro reportedly supports MagSafe wireless charging

According to foreign technology media MacRumors, Apple’s new iPad Pro launched next year will add MagSafe charging support.

The report claims that the news comes from a supply chain company that manufactures magnets for Apple, but it has not yet been confirmed.

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman revealed as early as 2021 that Apple was considering equipping the 2022 iPad Pro product line with a glass back cover to enable wireless charging, and specifically emphasized that it was testing the MagSafe system for the iPad Pro.

Unfortunately, Apple’s 2022 iPad Pro doesn’t have wireless charging, a glass back, or significant design changes.

It was previously reported that Apple is expected to launch 11.1-inch and 13-inch iPad Pro equipped with OLED screens next year, adopting a new appearance design, and is expected to bring MagSafe charging support.

Industry opinion believes that it is unlikely that the entire back of the iPad Pro will be made of glass. This will increase the weight of the product and reduce the durability of the product. Therefore, the industry speculates that a round hole will be dug in the middle and glass will be used for MagSafe wireless charging. .
