According to a list published by the United States Trademark and Patent Office (USPTO), Apple has recently been granted a patent for a technology involving the Digital Crown, which can be moved in different directions in addition to the existing rotating and pressing operations.

Apple has introduced a digital crown in its Apple Watch watches and AirPods Max headphones that allow users to rotate and press to achieve different actions. Apple’s previously approved patents also plan to introduce a digital crown in the iPad.

In its latest patent, Apple has added a new way to interact with the digital crown, including a sketch of the patent design and using the 2A image as an example.
