According to J.P. Morgan’s product inventory tracker, the delivery time of the iPhone 15 series has continued to shorten for two consecutive weeks, which may indicate that demand for new phones has weakened.
It is noted that currently, the global average delivery time for iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus is 15 days each, which is shorter than the 17 days in the third week. The iPhone 15 Pro remains unchanged at 29 days, while the Pro Max drops from 46 days to 35 days.
By comparison, the 2022 iPhone 14 series has shipping times of 2, 6, 33 and 40 days respectively.
The report states that the average shipping time for non-Pro models in 2023 is higher than that of 2022 models, while the average shipping time for Pro models is lower, which may not be a good sign, especially after two consecutive weeks of shortening .

The shortened shipping times “strengthens the possibility that long shipping times for high-end iPhone 15 models immediately after launch were driven by early order momentum and/or supply availability, which is now receding,” the report said. It may also indicate that “the internal sales mix of the iPhone 15 series is weaker than before, with a higher proportion of sales being allocated to lower-end models.”
Regionally, U.S. shipping times for non-Pro models remained unchanged at 15 days, with Pro models up from 28 days in week three to 29 days, and Pro Max models down from 54 days to 36 days.
In China, shipping times for iPhone 15 and Plus models dropped to 14 and 15 days respectively, down from 21 days a week ago. The Pro model once again remains unchanged at 29 days, while the Pro Max model drops from 43 days to 36 days.
On the European side, German shipping times for non-Pro models remained unchanged at 15 days, while Pro and Pro Max models dropped to 30 and 37 days, respectively, from 32 and 42 days in the third week.
In the UK, iPhone 15 and iPhone Plus once again remained unchanged at 15 days, with Pro models down from 28 days in week three to 26 days, and Pro Max models down from 44 days to 33 days.
