On November 5, 2012 – Apple lens supplier Dalit released its latest financial data today. According to the data, the company’s consolidated revenue for October was NT$5.213 billion (approximately RMB 1.178 billion), up 2 percent sequentially and 24 percent year-over-year, a new high since November 2020.
In the first 10 months of this year, the consolidated revenue of Dalit was NT$ 38.498 billion (approximately RMB 8.701 billion), up 1% year-over-year, and the cumulative revenue turned positive.
The chairman of the board, Mr. Lin Enping, said that the product mix for the fourth quarter is similar to that of the previous quarter, depending on which model sells well, and the customer will make appropriate adjustments. According to Lin’s outlook, it is expected that the peak of revenue for the year may fall in November.
Taiwan media pointed out that the market is concerned about the demand situation of the cell phone supply chain, and Lin said frankly that “the inventory is still quite large now”. In addition, Lin said that the flagship model is the indicator for customers to prove the competitiveness of the product, next year, except for the flagship model continuing to upgrade, other models have the trend of reducing the gauge.
