Apple Watch S7, SE supply reduced to prepare for next week’s Apple event

0

Apple’s “Far out” special launch event is less than a week away. The focus of the event will be on iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro, but Apple will also be updating its entire Apple Watch lineup.

Until then, the supply of existing Apple Watch Series 7 and Apple Watch SE has been rapidly decreasing ……

Apple’s online store shows that most Apple Watch Series 7 versions are no longer available for delivery ahead of next week’s launch, with only a small number of models currently available for delivery and most available for pickup in offline stores.

In addition, the Apple Watch SE is also facing the same supply crunch, though not as severe as the Apple Watch S7. Some models of the Apple Watch SE are neither available for delivery nor for pickup in Apple stores.

As a rule, existing Apple products usually run out of stock as much as possible before a new product is released, especially with the supply constraints at this stage. The new Apple Watch S8 series is expected to be available for pre-order on September 9, with the first orders to begin shipping a week later on September 16.

As previously announced, Apple will bring three new smartwatches to next week’s event – the Apple Watch Series 8, the new Apple Watch SE, and the new Apple Watch Pro. The main change seems to be the addition of a new body temperature sensor.

The Apple Watch Pro is likely to be a big upgrade. This new Apple Watch will feature a larger 47mm dial, a 1.99-inch display, and a longer battery life with a focus on extreme sports.

Less is known about the new Apple Watch SE, which starts at $2,199. Bloomberg previously reported that the device is unlikely to feature the larger design of the Apple Watch S7.
