Mark Gurman via his Power On update gave some information on Apple’s coming products ahead of the September 7 launch event, but we’ll focus on just the Apple Watch Pro. This device will be the first of its kind from Apple, as it will take a different design trend. According to previous leaks, this new watch entry will aim for the rugged sports smartwatch market.

From the latest Power On update, we can tell that the coming Apple Watch Pro will retail at an expensive price. Its design will also be different from the other two watches we expect to launch at Apple’s September 7 launch event. So far, we can tell that this watch will appeal to a very curtailed niche of users.

Apple Watch Pro will join the company's watch line-up in a few months.

In terms of its design, the Watch Pro will come with a larger screen for more viewing space. It will also launch with a larger battery as well as a low power usage feature to enable users to push themselves further despite running low on battery. For the casing, this watch will launch with a Titanium build to help improve durability, since Apple intends it serves for rigorous workout activities.

According to Mark Gurman, the Apple Watch Pro “won’t appeal to all consumers” due for certain reasons. One strong reason why this watch won’t appeal to most users is its pricing, which will sit somewhere within the $900-$1000 price point. Another reason will be its aggressive design, well, we need to wait and see things for ourselves during the launch event.
