Apple to launch USB-C versions of AirPods and AirPods Max as soon as next year

Gurman recently updated his Power On newsletter article to say that Apple is moving forward with a shift from Lightning to USB-C ports for accessories and other digital products beyond the iPhone 15 handset.

Gurman has previously said that Apple will announce the AirPods Pro headphones with USB-C ports at its Curiosity Up event next Wednesday at 1 a.m. There will be no changes to the specs other than the port.

Gurman said in the update that Apple will continue to promote the port migration of the AirPods series of products, the standard version of the AirPods and AirPods Max headphones as soon as next year also changed.
