Apple today pushed out the macOS Ventura 13.3 update (internal version number: 22E252) to Mac computer users, 42 days after the last release.

Note that due to server configuration caching issues on Apple’s regional nodes, there may be a slight delay in detecting the update update in some places, usually within half an hour, not too long.

Apple’s macOS Ventura 13.3 system update adds new emoji, fixes some bugs, and provides more features. This is the third major update to the macOS Ventura operating system released last October and may be the last as Apple moves to the next generation of macOS.

macOS Ventura 13.3 adds 21 new emoji including pea pod, ginger, pink heart, blue heart, gray heart, donkey, moose, blackbird, goose, wings and jellyfish. There are also several other improvements, bug fixes and security updates. Apple has released the full update notes, which are attached as follows:

This update includes new emojis and a number of other enhancements, bug fixes and security updates for your Mac computer.

21 new emoji, including animals, gestures and objects, are now available in the emoji keyboard

Phonetic support for Gujarati, Punjabi, and Urdu keyboards

New keyboard layouts for Choctaw, Chiksa, Akan, Hausa, and Yoruba

Accessibility settings to automatically dim video when flash or strobe effects are detected

Some features may not be available in all regions or on all Apple devices.

macOS Ventura 13.3 is expected to be one of the last updates to the macOS Ventura operating system as Apple turns its attention to the next generation of macOS, which is expected to be released in June of this year.
