Apple Autumn Conference, Apple Vice President of Marketing Kaiann Drance introduced the new iPhone 15 model, of which the standard version is equipped with an OLED Super Retina display. screen, the two base models also introduce support for Dynamic Island.

Apple says the iPhone 15 standard version has an outdoor peak brightness of 2,000 nits, twice that of the iPhone 14, and supports 1,600 nits of Dolby Vision.

In terms of environmental protection, 75% of the aluminium used in the iPhone 15 standard battery comes from recycled materials, and 100% of the cobalt comes from recycled materials.

In terms of cameras, the iPhone 15 standard version is equipped with a 48-megapixel main camera, 100% focus pixels, f1.6 aperture, and can display 2x lossless cropping and zooming.

The standard version of iPhone 15 is equipped with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera that can achieve 2x zoom and shoot 4K video.

In terms of processor, the iPhone 15 standard version uses the same A16 Bionic processor as the iPhone 14 Pro, with 2 high-performance cores and 4 efficiency cores. Apple officially stated that the iPhone 15 can provide longer battery life, but did not release detailed battery life data.

iPhone 15 Standard Edition features a second-generation UWB chip that expands connectivity and enables precise searches in Find My.

iPhone 15 uses more advanced machine learning models to filter your voice in noisy call environments. You can select “Voice Isolation” to automatically cut off background noise.

Apple said that emergency SOS and Find My services via satellite are currently available in 14 countries and regions, and will expand to 2 markets in the near future.

Next is the key point, iPhone 15 switches to a USB-C port to support charging, data transfer, audio and video design. EarPods and AirPods also switch to USB-C ports.

In terms of price, the iPhone 15 standard version starts at US$799 (currently about RMB 5833), and the iPhone 15 Plus starts at US$899 (currently about RMB 6563), supporting iPhone 11 and other models. Trade-in for new, up to $800 trade-in.
