Apple today released a firmware update for AirTag 2A36, higher than the 2A24e firmware released by Apple in November. Apple has not released the official changelog for the update.
Updating AirTag is also very simple and will automatically update once you connect it to your iPhone, but you can’t force a manual update. To make sure the update happens, you can put your AirTag in range of your iPhone and wait for the firmware to roll out to your device.
