“Fortune” announced today the 2023 list of The Most Admired Companies in the World and Apple once again ranked first. This is also the 16th consecutive year that Apple has been named the world’s most admired company.
Apple’s overall ranking is first, and it also ranks first in the subdivided computer industry. Fortune’s 25th Most Admired Companies report:
"Apple ranked No. 1 in our annual corporate reputation rankings for the 16th consecutive year, based on a survey of approximately 3,700 corporate executives, directors and analysts. Amazon and Microsoft tied for second. Financial companies received praise for their effectiveness in dealing with economic pressures such as inflation: JPMorgan Chase (No. 5) reached its highest ranking ever, while Morgan Stanley was ranked in the top 50 for the first time. Elsewhere, Costco Wholesale (No. 7) topped its industry supply chain for its best ranking ever, while Netflix fell from No. 9 to No. 29 as intense competition eroded its historic dominance of the streaming space."
