According to MacRumors, developers have once again found traces of the classical music app Apple Music Classical after digging deeper into the code of the newly released iOS 16.4 Beta 2.

The code hints found in the MusicKit framework are as follows: Using the Apple Music Classical app requires the Apple Music app to be installed first.

Apple’s classical music service is said to be based on Primephonic, a classical music service that Apple purchased more than a year ago. When Apple acquired Primephonic, the company promised to provide a better classical music experience for Apple Music users.

Apple previously said it would launch a “dedicated classical music app” in 2022, which would combine Primephonic’s classical user interface with “additional features. But as we head into March 2023, we still haven’t heard anything about the app.
