Apple Music and TV+ Prices Increased In Selected Countries

Apple earns considerably more from its paid subscriptions and services offered. Now, the latest information has started hovering online that the brand has reportedly increased the price of its Apple Music and Apple TV+ subscription prices in the selected markets. The price increase is effective in countries like the UK, the US and even a few more. Let’s get more information about the report.

Apple TV+ and Music subscription prices increased in selected regions

The prices of the subscription to Apple Music and Apple TV+ have been increased in selected countries across the globe. The UK and US are also of them. However, despite the Indian currency getting weaker in comparison to the US dollar, the prices of these subscriptions in India are unchanged.

Apple One

Apple Music costs around INR 149 (~$1.8) for the family plan with up to 6 members in India, whereas the same plan in the US used to cost $14.99 (~INR 1250) and now has risen up to $10.99 (~INR 1410). As for the Apple TV, it costs INR 99 (~$1.2) per month in India, the same plan in the US used to cost $4.99 (~INR 412) and now has increased to $6.99 (~INR 578). The UK prices are almost identical when compared to the US ones.

The company has said that they had to forcefully increase the prices of these subscriptions because of increasing licensing prices and the overall increase in the size of the content catalogue available. The changes have now come to effect in the selected countries. The brand may or may not change the prices in unaffected countries.
