According to documents disclosed by the FCC, Apple’s new Mac Pro is still being assembled in the United States, but a new “Product of Thailand” label has been added to the product label.
When Apple launched the previous generation Mac Pro in 2019, it was “Made in the USA,” with components designed, developed and manufactured by more than a dozen U.S. companies and delivered to U.S. customers.
And on the nameplate of the latest Mac Pro products, there’s a “Product of Thailand” label. MacRumors contacted Apple about the issue and has yet to receive a response.
The nameplate for the 2019 Mac Pro models sold in the U.S. is as follows: “Designed by Apple in California.
